Nelson s Joo, DMD
Dr. Nelson Joo has been practicing family dentistry in Aurora, Colorado since 1986. His practice provides comprehensive dental services for all ages ranging from pediatric and cosmetic dentistry to dental implants and oral surgery.
Dr. Joo earned his BS degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and completed his dental training at the Oral Roberts University. He graduated the dental school with honors from the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology.
Committed to keeping abreast with the latest research and developments as well as the changing technology in the field of dentistry, Dr. Joo regularly attends continuing education classes and belongs to multiple study clubs. In order to best service his patients, regular updates are made to his dental clinic procedures, technologies, and equipment based on industry developments.
Dr. Joo has volunteered his dental services regularly throughout his career, beginning with overseeing dental missions during his training and continuing with servicing underprivileged communities in the Denver Metro Area through Denver Rescue Mission and Inner City Health. He also volunteered as the Assistant Clinical Professor appointed by the School of Dentistry, University of Colorado for Inner City Health an appointment he hopes to resume once the program is reinstated.
Dr. Joo is happily married to his wife Susanna, who works with the Cherry Creek school district. Together, they have two grown children, Chelsea and Brandon. Taking full advantage of the great outdoors of Colorado, he and his wife enjoy taking long walks around the parks and trails of Denver as well as mountain hikes when possible with their rescue dog Truman. He also enjoys watching a variety of sports, with his favorite being ice hockey. GO AVS!

That is why we have devoted much time and energy into building an amazing team that takes great pride in what they do and care for our patients and each other like family. We are confident that every patient that visits our dental clinic will be treated with honor and respect and provided with the highest level of dental expertise by every member of the Orchid Dental family.
With over 20 years of office management experience in the dental field, Vonda has been an important member of our dental clinic for the last 10 years. During the last ten years, she has not only served as office manager but also as a chair-side assistant to Dr. Joo, giving her the unique knowledge and ability to handle almost every question our patients have regarding their clinical conditions, treatment options, and insurance issues.
Vonda is happily married to Bruce and has two wonderful sons. She finds joy in talking to our patients and is always ready with a smile to help.
A graduate of the Pima Medical Institute, Adriana is a dedicated and valued member of our dental team. Her primary philosophy is to treat every patient the way she would like to be treated in the dental chair: with kindness and respect. Adriana finds great joy in working with our outstanding dental clinic staff and wonderful patients and has blossomed under Dr. Joo’s educational approach to leading our dental team. Helping our patients to attain good oral health brings her great satisfaction!
When not at the office, Adrianna loves to spend time with her husband and family.
Michelle currently practices as a dental hygienist at the Orchid Dental clinic and is also a certified acupuncturist. She believes that a fusion of eastern and western medicine allows her to create a more comprehensive health plan for her patients.
Having graduated with honors in dental hygiene from the University of Colorado, obtained a Masters in Acupuncture and Herbology from Magna Cum Laude, and having studied Psychology and Social Work in her early years, Michelle has a highly well-rounded scope of knowledge and experience in the medical arena.
Charlotte received her BS degree from the School of Dental Hygiene, University of Arkansas Medical Science School. Having always wanted to work in the dental field, she began fulfilling her dream in Colorado where she has worked as a hygienist for over 20 years. Building relationships with patients and helping them maintain optimum oral hygiene is one of her greatest career goals.
Charlotte is married with three grown children and a dog named Scooby. When not at the dental clinic, she enjoys fishing, reading fiction, traveling and giving back to the community.

Meagan is the newest member of the staff family at the Orchid Dental clinic. She graduated from the Pima Medical Institute in October of 2014. She enjoys the people she works with and enjoys the new relationships she has built with patients so far. Her favorite part about working at Orchid Dental is the opportunity of being a part of putting smiles on the patients’ faces.
She loves visiting with family, traveling and but mostly being with her fiancé Eric. She is soon to be married in the spring of 2016.
